Members of the Jewish people, an ethnoreligious group originating in the ancient Near East.

10% Off		Refers to the Jewish practice of circumcision and the stereotype that Jews are frugal shoppers who never pay full price. The phrase alludes to always getting a discount.

AMF		Short for "Arbeit macht frei" ("Work makes you free"), the slogan on the gates of the Auschwitz concentration camp.
Bagel-Dog		From kosher "bagel dogs," a kosher sausage inside a bagel.
Bar Code		Refers to the tattoo numbers placed on prisoners in Nazi concentration camps. Used as a derogatory term for Jewish people referencing the Holocaust.
Beanie		Refers to the yarmulke.
Beastie Boy		Jews who act Black, like the Beastie Boys, a rap group with Jewish members.
Bible-Shortener		Refers to the Jewish practice of circumcision as a form of cutting, combined with the antisemitic trope that Jews alter or manipulate religious texts.
Big Nose		Refers to how Jews are said to have large noses.
Bones		Reference to the Holocaust, when Jews were often worked so hard they were turned into a mere pile of bones.
Brew		Short for "Hebrew."
Bronx Indian		Refers to Jewish people in New York City, particularly the Bronx, where large Jewish communities historically resided. Combines geography with antisemitic othering.
Bun		As in "bun in the oven."
Burger		Many of their names end in "Burg."
Campers		A reference to the WWII camps and to the propensity of Jewish parents to send their children to summer camps.
Cashew		Catholic Jews, mainly the children of a Jew and a Catholic. Originated from a stand-up routine by Jack Carter in the 1960s.
Christ Killer		See: Jesus Killer.
Circle-K		A circled "K" appears on kosher food labels.
Cliptip		Circumcision reference.
Crikey		A corrupted version of "Christ Killer."
Dead Sea Pedestrian		See: Red Sea Pedestrian.
Dial		Dial is a brand of soap. Refers to the rumor that the Nazis made soap from the bodies of Jews during WWII; historians have found no evidence that it is true.
Dreidl		Refers to the dreidel, a Jewish toy.
Easy-Bake Nigger		A play on the Easy-Bake Oven toy, referring to the Nazi use of ovens to murder Jews in the Holocaust.
Falasha		Ethiopian Jews. A derogatory nickname. The proper name is Beta Israel.
Firewood		WWII Holocaust reference. "Nazi firewood" to be more specific.
Four By Two		Cockney rhyming slang: "four by two" = "Jew."
Gargamel		Refers to the supposedly greedy, money-centered nature of Jews. Reference to the Smurfs cartoon.
Gatemaster		Some say they are destined for hell.
German Candle		The Nazis incinerated many Jews during WWII.
German Oven Mitt		Holocaust reference to the Nazi use of ovens to murder Jews.
Gew		A German Jew. Pronounced like "goo."
Goldberg		Common Jewish name. Also has slight money-related reference.
Goldie		Jews were forced to wear yellow Stars of David during WWII.
Half-Dick		Circumcision reference.
Hanah		Popular Jewish name for girls, pronounced like the chanu in Chanukah.
Hebe/Heeb		Short for "Hebrew."
Hebro		Black Jews. Combination of "Hebrew" and "bro," or "Hebrew" and "Negro."
Hickory-Smoked		Holocaust reference to the burning of Jewish victims by the Nazis.
Himey		Most noteworthy usage by Rev. Jesse Jackson, who called New York City "Hymietown." Also: heime, heimey.
Hooknose		In recognition of a common Hebrew facial characteristic.
Hot Pocket		"Quick easy thing to cook in an oven."
Hymie		Common name: Chaim, pronounced (roughly) "hy-EEM." Jesse Jackson once referred to New York City as "Hymietown."
Ikey-Mo		Abbreviation of "Isaac Moses."
Interesting		Used by some upper-class white people, especially women, when discussing men: "He's a nice guy. Is he.. interesting?"
Isaac		Assumes that "Isaac" and its variants are common names among Jews.
Jesus Killer		Refers to the accusation that Jews were responsible for the death of Jesus, which Christians used for centuries, including during WWII, to justify hatred of Jews.
Jew		Short for Jewish. Not really a slur but could be if you say it the right way.
Jew Jew Bee		There's a type of candy called JuJu.
Jew Yorker		Due to the high number of Jews in New York.
Jew-Bag		Reference to being cheap.
Jewbacca		Hairy Jews. In reference to the hairy creature Chewbacca from the "Star Wars" movies.
Jewbling		Small/young Jews.
Jewbrew		Hebrew combined with Jew.
Jewbu		A former Jew who has switched to Buddhism (apparently there are many).
Jewess		Mix of "Jew" and "princess," as teenage girls are often treated. Not any more of a slur than "Jew" is.
Jewgaboo		A Jewish person who acts or tries to act like a Black person, or is half Black.
Jewlet		Female teenage Jews. Heard frequently in New York.
Jewmaican		A Jewish person that acts Jamaican or Rastafarian or is half Jamaican.
Jewpac		Twist on Tupac Shakur's name.
Jewpidity		Jewish + stupidity.
Jish		Slurred contraction of "Jewish."
JUBU		Jewish people attempting to act Black. From FUBU, the clothing marketed toward Black people.
Kike		Highly offensive antisemitic slur. Possibly derived from the Yiddish word kikel meaning circle, because Jewish immigrants who could not write signed with a circle instead of an X, which they associated with the Christian cross.
Kosher Konsumer		They only eat kosher food.
Koshie		As in "kosher."
Lamp Shade		Refers to the allegation that the Nazis made lampshades from Jewish skin.
Matza-Gobbler		Matzo is Jewish unleavened bread.
Matzah		Refers to the Jewish food matzo balls.
Mockey		Jews "mocked" Jesus at his death.
Morta Cristo		Italian for 'Christ-killer.'.
Moses		Famous Jew who led his people out of Egypt.
Nickel Nose		Refers to money and a supposed facial characteristic.
Oven Magnet		Attracted to the inside of ovens.
Oven-Baked		World War II reference.
Oven-Dweller		World War II reference.
Palm Beacher		Refers to elderly Jewish voters in Palm Beach County, Florida, whose ballots were at the center of the disputed 2000 presidential election.
Penny Chaser		The old "Jews are cheap" stereotype.
Penny-Pincher		Refers to cheapness.
Pinocchio		Pinocchio's nose is said to correspond with that of a stereotypical Jew.
Pizza		A Holocaust reference, comparing Jews to pizza going into an oven.
Popular Science		Refers to the experiments performed on Jews during WWII.
Porky		The Old Testament forbids Jews to eat pork.
Red Sea Pedestrian		Moses led the Israelites across the Red Sea from Egypt. Heard in Monty Python's "Life of Brian."
Scooby Doo		Rhyming slang for "Jew."
Seinfeld		Refers to Jerry Seinfeld, a famous Jewish comedian.
Self-Chosen		In reference to their moniker "chosen people of God."
Sheeny		From Yiddish "sheyn" or German "schön," meaning "beautiful."
Sheister		Like a "shyster" lawyer: one who carries on any business, especially legal business, in a mean and dishonest way.
Shnozzle		They are said to have large noses, or "shnozzes."
Shonnicker		Early 20th-century American term.
Shylock		Comes from Shakespeare's "The Merchant of Venice."
Six Point(er)		Six points on the star of David.
Six-nose		Jews are said to have hooked, or "six-shaped," noses.
Snipcock		A reference to circumcision.
Special Meal		When a Jewish person gets a meal on a plane, it is from the kosher menu, a special meal not offered to regular passengers.
Stein		Common Jewish surname.
Toucan Sam		Toucans have large, protruding beaks.
Wandering Jew		Refers to the medieval Christian legend of a Jew condemned to wander the earth until the Second Coming for mocking Jesus. Used as an antisemitic epithet.
Wej		"Jew" spelled backwards.
Yahoodi		The word "Jew" in Arabic.
Yenta		Know-it-all Jewish woman. Not really a slur.
Yid		The Yiddish connection.
Yid/Yid-Lid		"Yid" = Yiddish; "lid" = yarmulke.
Yiddiot		Yiddish and "idiot" combined (stupid Jew).
Yitze		Name for Jews. Also Yitze Braun, Yitze Braud.
Zhid		Russian-language version of "Jew" or "yid." Only considered a derogatory term close to "kike" in Orthodox Christian countries; in others it simply means "Jew."
Zhidan		Romanian word for "Jew," "dirty Jew" or "cheap Jew."
Zionist		Used as a slur against Jews by those who assert that Jews are collectively Zionist and seek to take over Palestine. Zionism is a political movement, and not all Jews are Zionists. See also: Zog.
Zog		Stands for "Zionist Occupation Government." Written near the body of murdered radio talk show host Alan Berg in Denver, Colorado.
